Members Overhaul
We’re proud to finally announce our big revamp of ericdjuly.com! For those that don’t know, due to their insane policies and other nonsense, we closed down the Patreon. Instead, we created our own custom version of a way that you can directly support me without the middleman and accompanying politics. We added a cool forum and other perks for our supporters. But now that we’ve grown as much as we have, it’s time for a bigger and better membership site with all-new upgrades.
If you visit ericdjuly.com right now, you’ll see all of the visual upgrades to the site. But the membership portion of the website is where most of the upgrades went. Getting this to where we wanted it to be took a lot of time, effort, and investment. But, thanks to our team, we identified where we needed to improve and what it would take to make some of our ideas come to life. You’re now going to be able to move up and down tiers yourself through your account. And The Rippaverse was something that we wanted to take advantage of because it keeps things in-house. It’s a business with a lot going for itself, and it only made sense to find out how we could leverage it as a perk for our members.
Our technical upgrades have allowed us a decent amount of integration between Rippaverse.com and EricDJuly.com. To truly take advantage of this, we had to rebuild our membership platform from the ground up. So previous members will have to get resigned to take advantage of everything. We’ve adjusted the pricing on tiers, of which we currently have 5. The perks have all been upgraded. You’ll still get the forum and boards. However, we’ve now added some free wallpapers and various discounts, which include select merchandise for The Rippaverse. With our new system, you’ll be able to take advantage of these as long as you’re logged in under your ericdjuly.com account. Again, this is one of the cool things our integration allows. The discounts range depending on your tier, and our Ultra Macks get free shipping domestically.
We’ll also be able to get you unique badges in our forum based on projects you’ve supported in the past. But engagement is a huge thing we’ll focus on in the future. We’d like to do Mack-exclusive streams and other cool things, such as video game sessions with our members and Eric; now we have the technology to make this all happen. Also, we’ll run a lot of our giveaways for the channel through the website.
But the thing that we know people are going to be excited about is the Creators Edition of Isom #1. Eric has talked about this since the launch of Isom, and we’re sorry we’re just now getting this out. Now live, if you are an Ultra Mack, you can redeem the Creators Edition cover of Isom #1. The treatment of the cover itself is awesome once you see it in person. But this will be the rarest edition of Isom #1 – limited to just 1900 redemptions. Just get signed up and logged in, and then you will see the redeem button on the dashboard. It’ll take you through the checkout, and once you confirm, it’ll be shipped. Again, the cut-off is 1900 copies.
To conclude, just as a reminder, we want to let you all know why this is even a thing. Eric is always talking about parallel economies, and this is a way for him to do something tailored for you – his supporters. That’s the advantage of not going through someone else’s established platform. Some people may ask, don’t you have enough money flowing through the Rippaverse? Believe it or not, Eric hasn’t gotten a big payday from the Rippaverse individually. He keeps his employees and contractors paid, but as we’ve stated before, the rest of the money is for reinvestment. We are very much still in the early growth phase. Every dollar counts and needs to go towards the company. Eric has things like ericdjuly.com and other revenue streams to take care of his day-to-day expenses for he and his wife

Just to confirm, I hit the “Redeem Free Cover” and it does take me to the Rippaverse page, but I don’t see the option to get the cover. Have all 1900 been claimed?

I had the same exact issue. On the homepage of Rippaverse.com there’s a giant rectangle with a slide show directing you to different things (view Isom #1 campaign, featured fan art, etc.) One of them is “Ultra Macks!” and there’s an option to “Redeem Now”. That’s how I was able to redeem my book. Hope this helps. Maybe someone can forward this to someone in the know. I don’t know who to email this to.

Is there any plans in the future to have this all connect to the Mack app as well?
