I caught a portion of the EVS trashcast #6 stream and had a thought…
I have copies of Isom 1, Isom 2, and Alphacore 1 in hand… Well in a Rippaverse short box at home, but I digress… I just got updates about EVS working on Reignbow the Brute a week or so ago. A campaign I helped fund in January 2021. It’s been three years since that campaign ended and EVS is only now starting to work on it…? I also backed EVS’s Snowman: A Cold Day in Hell in January 2021 and no word on that at all.
I honestly just quit that video after I remembered something Ya Boi Zack said a few years ago about Ethan Van Sciver being just the heckler that runs one of the rigged games at a carnival. I can understand having a persona and acting in a silly manner that’s considered counter culture… But when you’re three years behind on fulfilling your campaigns and yet have the time to complain about someone and call them names when I actually have multiple Rippaverse products in my hands, MAYBE you’re the idiot. Eric started campaigning comics in 2023, two plus years after I backed two of EVS’s comics and I have three of Eric’s comics, plus associated merch and have only received one of Ethan Van Sciver’s in the last three years.
This Drama-farming business is starting to sound like EVS is doing the same damn thing he complains got him ousted from DC.

I agree. I backed Reignbow in early 22 and he’s so haphazard that we’ll probably have to wait even longer. He should be only working on Reignbow but he’s drawing pages for Cyberfrog 3. Even if the art in Isom is awful which it isn’t the quick turnaround with the Rippaverse makes it a better brand than All Caps Comics.

Absolutely! The artwork has been great in Isom and Alphacore. I’m excited for what’s next.
The artwork in Cyber Frog is great too, but honestly I’m not going to help EVS crowdfund again so he can spend his time trying to troll other independent comic book publishers. I don’t like bullies and I think this kind of BS will eventually tarnish All Caps Comics, making it harder to sell their books.

Great point. The infighting is dumb and not only will it destroy All Caps Comics but it’ll hurt the entire indie comic scene as well.
