Daily Poll 98: Are you excited for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?
Nintendo has opened the doors on Gen 9 in the form of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet yesterday. I saw some screenshots and I’ll say I don’t like the art style as much as Sword and Shield. I’ve played some of Arceus and it’s a great game I do want Game Freak to go all in on that style of game and make it the new mainline standard. I do think that is down the line and Gen 9 won’t be that. It’ll still sell like gangbusters though. What do you guys think?

Big pokemon fan. Haven’t bought a game since Sword+Shield. I just wish the game wasn’t so easy. It’s their business strategy and it works, make a game for idiots and infants. You can basically press A and beat the main story. No strategy, no training, no thinking. I do like the starters for scarlet and violet, theyre cute. Watch some of Arceus streams, looks interesting, more like a collectathon but the graphics is way below switch potential. I probably won’t buy it because I think all the games have been rushed out, especially if it’s set to release before the end of this year.

I always get excited for Pokémon games and probably always will despite how old I get. I admit I’m a storyline mode player and that’s it. I don’t do the competitive battles or try and collect all the Pokémon. I enjoy going through the storyline even though it is really easy and usually the same old thing every game.
