Daily Poll 192: How do you feel about Pride month?
Everything and everyone that operates in North America, Western Europe and Australia will be gay for this whole month. I’m fine with people being whatever they feel like and doing it with other consensual adults. I don’t like or support corporations regardless of their rainbow logos or not so this isn’t something I’ve ever really cared about. It’s just more pandering and it is kind of fun to laugh at. I don’t care what people do but I don’t understand why corporations have to go overboard with the support. It’s like with black history month now, it used to be fine now streaming services are putting “black shows” in the forefront for that month like I can’t find that content on my own or something. Also, corporations claiming that they donate to black communities on every commercial is way too much as well. The same is done for Hispanic month and Pride month, I’m watching the Food network right now and can’t even count how many times I’ve seen them advertise Pride month with some trans show on discovery +. I support these corporations for a good product or service not for them to virtue signal about what they do for minority groups for that one month. It just comes off as insincere and feels like an insult to my intelligence.

I have nothing but extreme hatred for pride month because it has overshadowed a holiday that is more important and worth celebrating world-wide. Father’s day. I love my dad and I will be sure to treat him well for the rest of my life.

I disregard and disagree with pride month. Pride in what? Being gay? What’s there to take pride in? A minor and arbitrary component of oneself. Not much different than black, brown, or white pride is it? And since it’s based solely on vanity, I think the month should be made into June again.

Pride Month’s just the State and corporations enabling the degenerate behavior of a small minority that is so hell bent on tearing the foundations of a stable and moral society.
Basically, fuck Pride, and fuck all the groomers that jiggle and gyrate like idiots.
