In the 80s and 90s I was big into comics. Had boxes and boxes. Went off to college and books stayed with moms. She ended up giving all my books away.

Fast forward to 2019 and I have little kids. Was wanting to get them into comics as I was previously. Went to my local shop, picked up a bunch of titles and took them home to read them to the kids. They sucked! At first I thought maybe it was me. I grabbed some of my old favs in graphic novel version to reread. I still loved them! Even the Warriors of Plasm from back in the day I still enjoyed. I then came to the realization that there must be some issue with the new books. I bought more and they sucked.

I discovered a man by the name of Eric July. Started listening and realized that I was not alone!

I can’t wait for the RippaVerse!

I never was into comics. I am now here, actually excited for the rippaverse. I know I am getting myself and my son a copy. I support those that do not hate me.

Marvel and DC went down the shitter when I was in my teens and it kept me from really getting into comics for years. With the Rippaverse coming I’m really hyped and I’ve been reading some comics to have a reference when I get the first volume in my hands and I’m having a good time.

I collected a ton of comics in 80s and 90s as well.

I opened an account in IndieGoGo in anticipation of Rippaverse and have already backed four projects that look pretty good, one being Chuck Dixon’s new comic series.

Obviously I encourage the RippaVerse as it launches, as I myself am hyped as hell for it. If you don’t mind me asking, how old are your kiddos that you were wanting to introduce to the medium?

6 and 8. Of course, my son loves Miles and daughter loves Spider-Gwen.
