Daily Poll 101: How likely is nuclear war?
The war in Ukraine rages on and with it fears of the nuclear option being used. I’ve heard that nukes are being staged in Belarus and Putin is threating NATO. I’ve seen so much information end being false, I don’t know what to believe. I think it’s highly unlikely this conflict will escalate beyond a failed invasion of Ukraine but I could be wrong. What do you guys think?

I’m in the same boat. I have no idea what the end game is for Russia or where this is going. I’ve heard people speculate on everything from Putin rebuilding the former USSR all the way to spiritual/ religious reasons. I’m not sure I buy nor see much evidence for either, but it’s a head scratcher.

I don’t think the nuclear option is a likely outcome, although it is definitely possible. I think it’s far more likely to become a digital conflict rather than a traditional war. Hacking central banking systems, counter intelligence operations, misinformation, manipulation of public opinion, etc.
