Daily Poll 109: How often do you go to the movies?
The silver screen was once the go to for entertainment in America, but over the decades Television, radio, video games and now internet streaming have made the process of going out to the movies every Friday and overpaying for candy and popcorn a relic of the past for a lot of people. COVID coming a long and ‘forcing’ the government to shut down theaters didn’t help the industry either. The last movie I saw in theaters was Joker in 2019. I do want to go to the movies again but there really isn’t anything worth watching and the few movies that could be are made by insane Hollywood leftists that I have no interest in funding. What about you guys?

Growing up, going to the movies every weekend was an addicting hobby my family and I indulged in. There were great movies that were better watched in theaters.
I stopped going:
1: ticket prices and parking were getting more expensive.
2. The quality of movies kept decreasing. The on-the-nose woke propaganda confounded this problem further.
Avengers: Endgame was THE last movie I saw in theaters. It was a comfortable theater where I ate dinner while watching the movie. It’s a fond memory.
Nowadays, I have no motivation to go the theaters if it means subjecting myself to communist political lectures.
