Daily Poll 112: Do you own pets?
Domesticating animals to benefit humans started thousands of years ago and continues to this day. Although we don’t rely on animals to labor, millions of people own pets as companions that enrich their lives. I’ve been fortune enough to live in a household that’s always had pets. I’ve got two dogs and a cat currently. We had another cat but she died of cancer in January. One of the few downsides of pet ownership. What about you guys?

Sorry to hear about your cat, Joker. That is indeed the sad part about owning pets. The wife and I have two brother cats we purchased from a local shelter as kittens last year.

Thanks for the kind words. Cats are very fun to have, the other cat we have is around 2 years old and she’s a very healthy and beautiful black cat.

Condolences on your cat man, I grew up with a couple of cats as pets & it was absolutely heartbreaking to lose them.
I currently have a cat as well, found her at my job buried in a stack of pallets back in September, she was no bigger than a softball. She’s an absolute tornado, lol

Thank you for the condolences. It hit me pretty hard when it happened but I was ready for it since my dad and I were taking care of her for about two months before she died.

Grew up with 7 cats, only liked 2 of them, haha. I will get a dog once I get a home that’s big enough.
