Daily Poll 117: How do you feel about the Halo TV show?
Since this is Daily Poll 117; I figured I’d make it Halo themed. The Halo TV is hitting Paramount Plus on the 24th of March and to me its Dead on Arrival. The production is really lacking from what I’ve seen in the trailers, Chevy Tahoe and all, and the showrunner isn’t using the games as a reference. It seems to me they’re just making a generic sci fi show and slapping a coat of Halo paint made by people who haven’t even touched an Xbox. That’s just my thoughts. What are yours?

Your opinion seems pretty spot on. The moment they alluded to John not being the star of his own show I knew it was going to be a miss.
Plus the fact that the shows special effects look to be on par with those old live action commercials that came out for ODST makes me doubly uninterested.
I’m more interested in discovering new indie projects than any Hollywood adaptation of something that I used to care about.
