Daily Poll 332: Is addiction a disease?
Addiction being a disease is something I heard quite a bit in High School and College to destigmatize those who suffer with addictions. While that can be true a lot of people who are true slaves to addictions have got themselves into that situation or at the very least refuse to do the bare minimum to begin healing from their addiction.
