Daily Poll 350: Should sex work be stigmatized?
Sex work is the world’s oldest profession and it’s evolved in a lot of ways with the advent of the internet. What persists is the stigma around it. A lot of people view sex workers very poorly and prostitution is still illegal in many parts of the world. Is this stigma deserved? In some ways I would say yes given how seedy of an industry it is and the fact that many sex workers end up in that industry through abuse or poverty. I do think widespread decriminalization and some basic tolerance is in order. What do you think? Don’t forget to vote on the poll and to comment below!
