Daily Poll 43: Do you prefer digital or physical games?
People have been able to buy video games from stores for almost 50 years now. In the last decade downloading games from a server to your PC or console has taken over buying a physical disc or cartridge that has the game loaded onto it or in the internet age basically serves as key to download the game. I’ve fallen for the convenience of digital games and most of the industry has as well. What about you guys?

I wouldn’t describe myself as a gamer, mostly because I only play occasionally and don’t take it too seriously. I also play offline, so no I’m not fucking up your halo lobbies. lol. But, I was just talking about this yesterday. I much prefer to have a physical copy and insert the disc. There is something so much more satisfying about a physical copy.

This is me also. I also tend to gravitate toward offline or straight-up single player games like RPGs. For me, when I get the opportunity to play a game (which means I got a rare break from the kids and other responsibilities), I’m ready for some time to myself. I have little interest in spending that time going back and forth over the headset with 16 year old “CuckSlayer69_420” from halfway around the globe.
