Daily Poll 51: Is GETTR a free speech platform?
Get on GETTR has been the message that’s been rippling through the internet the past few days. Joe Rogan, Info Wars and Tim Pool are just some of the bigger names that have been on the site. I’ve used the site and the app for a little bit and it’s a functional clone of twitter. I do think it’s being run by neo cons and I do think they’re liable to get too ban happy. They are going to lean into crypto in the future like a lot of alt tech has. Not sure how it will turn out. I’m interested to see what you guys think.

I am certain they will eventually break the freespeech pledge, any platform subject to ESGs and Payment services restrictions can be pressured. I am gonna keep on it for the possibility of the crypto prospects. I prefer Minds tho the UI sucks.

The GETTR guy was just on tim pool last night and the awnser is no its just another shut service that has no problem censoring people.

No, it’s just basically conservative Twitter. I think it’s safe to say that there is no true free speech platform. This is gonna sound really stupid, but what I would consider a free speech platform is whether or not the platform allows certain, dare I say, gamer words.
I know it’s childish, but I find the words funny as hell, so I often let them slip out, since I grew up during a time where people would use said words so openly towards everyone.
