Daily Poll 61: How do you feel about the new Batman movie?
A new Batman movie is hitting theaters in March. Robert Pattison is going to be the Batman for some reason and he’s going to take down Edward Nash who is the Riddler. DC is a dead company and since a lot of us are here ready to chuck money at the Rippaverse that’s clear to us. I just watched the trailer and I’m underwhelmed so I think it will be dead on arrival from a quality standpoint but it’ll probably do decent at the box office since normies go on name recognition alone. That is just me and as always leave your thoughts down below.

Definitely a dead company unfortunately and batman is my favorite character too that said, I think it’s gonna bomb.Robert Pattison is a subpar actor and with the way they are making movies now a days with the exception of nostalgia bait Spider-Man I think it’s gonna be straight to dvd type shit.

Batman movies have lost the magic. Robert Pattinson has some good moments, but Batman? Idk about that. Looking at the field of actors lately though, there really isn’t a good choice for Batman. There is a big gap between actors like the rock, and actors like Jonah hill. There are very few mainstream choices of actors who meet the understated tough guy criteria, since Hollywood has been busy pretending that 5’5 120 lb women are the perfect image of physical strength and capability. Robert Pattinson will always be a sparkly vampire to a lot of people though. I don’t think it’s going to hit the mark. I think he’s a decent enough actor, but he’s got a specific type of role that suits him.

My thoughts exactly even if Pattinson nails the role he’ll always be angsty teenage vampire dude to me.
