Daily Poll 73: Do you pre order games?
Pre ordering games has been around for a while and made a lot more sense when gaming was a purely physical medium and copies for a game would be hard to come by when a game released unless you pre ordered it beforehand. Nowadays most bigger game companies want you to cough up full price before the game is even close to playable. Enter bullshit trailers and even more bullshit pre order bonus to trigger gamer’s fear of missing out. A lot of games being underwhelming and corpo shenanigans have kept me from pre ordering games. What about you?

I rarely do, I n fact the only pre order I have had in the last three years was the Mass Effect Re-Release, I loved that series and new exactly what I was getting.

I try not to. But every now and again, I get duped into a pre-order by the hype.
The last pre-order I had was Cyberpunk 2077.
I sometimes buy day one release like Demon Slayer, but only because they had a 20% discount on Fanatical.
