Daily Poll 88: Do you like Black History Month?
It’s February, which makes it the one month a year where the establishment in America all trip over themselves to proclaim just how much they care about Black people, culture and history. To me it’s all a charade to keep the woke weirdos off their backs but I think enough people don’t see the pandering for what it is. History is important and it should be studied year round and not defined by race. But hey that’s just me, what do you guys think?

I agree with Morgan Freeman on this one. The emphasis on race isn’t really helpful. We’re all just people, and if your race is the most important part of your identity, you’re a weirdo and have probably never accomplished anything worth bragging about. Black history month is one of the more ridiculous panders. It’s really just the segregation of history classes.

No, very few people use it to celebrate anything positive. For most, it becomes a month long guilt trip and pity party. All these years already know who’s going to post weird stuff on social media for the entire month, and the 30 day snooze makes it easy for me to ignore it them for an entire month. IDC if the ignore does bleed over into March😁. I do agree with Morgan Freeman’s take on it, finding another black actor that agrees with Morgan is like searching for a needle in a haystack. Maybe Denzel🤷♂️

If you read history, real history, you will have all the “black history” you need
I believe these government based rhetoric programs are divisive at best and pure propaganda at their worst
