Daily Poll 885: Have You Ever Been on Welfare?
I’m fortunate enough to have never needed welfare. While I am not against people being in poverty and getting help along the way to escape it; The Welfare State is a goliath that exists to keep people entrenched in poverty and dependent on benefits. Not to mention that they are plenty of people that defraud welfare. Using food stamps to buy cigarettes or exchanging them for cash to buy drugs and booze is common place. I am not against helping the poor but I am against the State’s rotten and ineffective methods of building a social safety net. What about you? Don’t forget to vote on the poll and to comment below!
