How do you like the remake so far? Worth it? recently got a switch about to buy Sword or Shield

I like them so far. Good art direction, I prefer it to Sword and Shield personally.

I’m not particularly fond of the overworld sprites. I wish they’d kept the art direction of Let’s GO and Sword/Shield. The environmental stuff, such as water reflections, however, are a nice touch.

Are you really? I had no idea. I’ve been streaming Brilliant Diamond. Just beat the Elite Four late last night and finished the Sinnoh Dex to unlock Nat’ this morning.

My sister is and said she got a mew in the first hour or so–oh how the mighty have fallen lol. –obviously I haven’t played one since Red/Blue/Yellow 🙃

Yeah, they have a couple of NPCs that give you Mew and Jirachi if you have a certain item.

All you need is save game data from Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee, and Sword/Shield.

I’ve played about an hour of diamond. These were first pokemon games I’ve ever played so it’s a fun blast from the past for me. Got a 4 day weekend soon I’m going to play a good bit more along with guardians and SMT V I hope.

I have the Sword, just haven’t played it in a while. So many things I want to do, hard to make time for all of it. I would like to get back into it. Gonna get back to it, so I will message people my friend code for those who want it.

Gonna have to pass on BDSP. From what I’ve seen they don’t look like they will be as good as Platinum. Hope ya’ll are enjoying yourselves though.

Not having the Platinum content is certainly a bummer, however, the quality of life improvements they made overall definitely exceed the originals.

I wouldn’t past Nintendo to release the platinum content for 60 bucks next holiday season.

I don’t really see that happening, but if they did it (including a full Battle Frontier expansion) for $20 I’d be down. The Sword and Shield expansion content was worth it to me – I thoroughly enjoyed the Tundra content especially.

To be honest, as trash as that would be, I would prefer that than having them pretend it doesn’t exist (provided it adds EVERYTHING that was in Platinum).

True, the quality of life stuff is quite tempting, ngl. I just find it weird how after HGSS, Gamefreak and/or The Pokemon Company pretend that the 3rd, superior, version doesn’t exist. All they had to do was make Platinum+ and I would have brought it.

Nintendo should call it pure platinum if they ever release it. I love Bayonetta

Not sure if that is a Bayonetta reference, but Pure Platinum sounds ultra-badass. Simple, but badass.
