While I prefer he does this independently, I would caution him to think about this strategically. For him to thoroughly examine the pros and cons to either option.

A decentralized Europe, after the Roman Empire collapse, was a contributing factor to why liberty and private property rights as a theory and practice began to emerge, which is what we benefit today.
I believe liberty will continue to advance with a decentralized America.

3D printing is not a hobby I have too much interest in, but will keep in mind if I’m completely bored and have enough money for it.
