I wouldn’t say much. I’m the only one here who posts everyday with my polls. Duke started his new renasissance series which I’ve enjoyed. When the Rippaverse is really close to launch the info drops here first. Should be in announcements when it does come which I hope is soon.

A piece of art stands on its own and to have the intention on making good art and hold true to the values of whatever medium your working in is what matters most. The independent space if just that independent. Creatives in CG have different values and it’s reflected in their work but they respect their audience and have integrity and that’s going to reflect in the work and the culture no matter what.

Ethan Van Sciver has done some of this with Cyberfrog and All Caps Comics. There are toys, mugs, hoodies, trading cards and other merch that go along with the comics. Making an animated show with physical merchandise is an expensive endeavor but as the independents get more established and accrue more capital they’ll be able to make IP that resembles the corporate stuff you remember in scale.

DC, Marvel, Disney, Amazon and the rest of corporate America have thrown artistic integrity in the toilet the second it became politically inconvenient to the radical left. People have left comics, the box office is on a pretty steady decline and Netflix is bleeding subscribers. People hate the concept of selling out. Just doing things to make money and that’s apparent in whatever art has corporate backing.
Like you said anyone can express themselves. Those with artistic integrity have done in droves since they could. It’s been driving the culture and I think it’s only going to get better with time.

I started going to the gym 3 times a week a couple of weeks ago. Next day is tuesday. Been trying to work out everyday too and I’ve been pretty successful at it. I’ve lost around 10 pounds over the last two months and I have more energy these days.

I watched a good bit of Fairy Tale back in the day. I’d rather finish that then go onto Eden.

I’ve got an android so no Truth social for me for a while. I did get a share of DWAC though and it’s gone down pretty steadily from when I got in, then again the whole market has.

Daemon X Machina is on Steam and the Switch. It’s one of the games wrapped in plastic on my shelf that I haven’t gotten around to playing yet. I remember playing the demo and having a lot of fun with it.

I agree with you and @Pandahulk that this poll is pretty vague. I should have used favorite. I have to come up with a poll everyday and unless something really interesting happens I need to come up with an idea and I ran out of ideas like 100 polls ago. I do always figure something out though and thanks for all the response. Nice to see you back!

All Caps Comics is the comic book company that publishes Cyberfrog and Reignbow Brute another upcoming book by EVS. ACC also publishes books from other creators that Ethan knows and works with like Kyle Ritter’s Starblades and Matt Martin’s Snowman books. All Caps Comics has an ebay store and you can go on Indiegogo to back all of his current campaigns.

It’s not just doing what you love and being passionate about it. It’s also standing by the original work. Tokenization is rampant in western media and it’s a result of corpos giving up integrity in exchange for being perceived as politically correct.

A lot of words have lost their meaning to being over used. My intention with this poll was to ask about stuff more along the lines of Area 51 rather than Pfizer having used aborted fetal tissue to make a vaccine with 12 percent efficacy.
