I think much like Patreon, it’s a useful tool for building a foundation, but as soon as that foundation is built, chuck it and let the brand stand on its own merit. But, I’m sure Eric has thought about this much more than I have, and will make the smartest decision for his business one way or the other.

True Liberty is the only moral solution and it is the inevitable answer to the question humanity has been seeking an answer to throughout its entire existence. Decentralization is a necessary step in the path to the inevitable answer. Any dismantling of power structures is a good start.

I’m glad to not be a victim of Biden’s mandate, but the wording of the ruling does nothing to address the root of the issue. Government has no right to our bodies. It was left at, “well osha can’t regulate generalized risk so this tyranny will have to come from a different government agency to be approved by us. Try again.” Predictable, and underwhelming, but kind of a relief.

I generally don’t play mobile games, but the game I play most is Wordscapes. Definitely for wasting time, but also somewhat productive as it keeps my vocabulary and spelling in check. I’ve never really seen the appeal in the mobile game formats.

I don’t have that luxury. I moved to a town full of well off white leftists, not realizing what I was getting into. I refuse to wear a mask at work. To the point of the office staff threatening to “get nasty” if I don’t start. Funny enough, the rest of the guys out in the shop don’t mask either. Neither does my manager, or the parts clerk. But the office employees come out into the shop when they’re bored to harass us for it. We all agreed we’re not worried about it. Only one of us have had covid, and he came to work covid positive for two days and didn’t spread it. His kid got it from her mask nazi teacher. It’s all horse shit.

My town is full of mask nazis. It’s exhausting. I actually leave my county to go grocery shopping because the local stores won’t let you buy anything without a mask on.
