Daily Poll 54: Do you buy independent Comics?
Marvel and DC are dead to anybody who gives even cares a little bit about good classic storytelling and the elements that got thousands over decades to visit the comic store every week and get the latest issues. Independent Comic creators have been trying to fill in the void left by the big two for years now and to varying degrees of success. Personally I’ve backed a campaign by Richard Meyer aka Zack and I just got the Cyberfrog omnibus by Ethan Van Sciver which is stellar and makes me excited to get the newer Cyberfrog books. That is just me tell me what you guys think.

Yep. I stopped buying the main two.
I backed BRZRKR, Black Tide Rising, and Door Kickers.
I’m running broke backing some of these but I look forward to well written stories that focus on good story telling.

I was made aware of indie comics when ComicsGate started, and heavily considered buying Kamen America as my first actual comic book. However, I haven’t made the leap to purchase it yet, so odds are Rippa’s comic will be my first actual American comic book.
